Role of Computers in Tourism- Airline, Railways, Cargo, travel retailing

E-tourism:

Introduction, historical development, E-tourism players, E-tourism in India, concept of E-commerce, E-mail, E-ticket, EFT, E-security and E-conferencing.

Computer reservation system, introduction, evolution & Need for CRS, Amadeus Software.

Tourism Mobile Apps:

Concept, nature, characteristics and scope, mobile application related to hotel and various payment gateways (case studies on OYO and Trivago)
