CO44: Demonstrate proficiency in creating Tables and charts using a Software.

CO45: To develop and deliver comprehensive and engaging presentations on the Systematic Review of Literature on contemporary issues in Management

Approach in teaching:

Lab class and regular interaction with supervisor

   Presentations, Report Writing, Data Analysis

Semester End Evaluation -Viva and Report Presentation, Continuous Assessment through Tests and interim presentations

Systematic Review of Literature-Resources and process

Introduction to Data Analysis using Software

  • Data coding and data entry
  • Exploring Data with Graphs- Histogram, Box Plots, Bar Charts, Scatter plots, Line Charts

Report Writing- Structure and Layout, Bibliography and References (APA style)

 

Apart from the 30 hrs. lab sessions, students are required to devote 2 hrs. per week under the supervision of their respective supervisors on regular basis for guidance on preparing a report based on systematic Review of Literature.

 

 

GUIDELINES FOR REPORT AND PRESENTATION FOR SEE

 

I: Guidelines for report preparation

  1. Choose a topic of your interest. No two students can have the same topic
  2. Review at least 15 research articles/papers related to your topic published in reputed national and international journals, newspapers and books.
  3. Report should have the following structure:
  • Cover page
  • Acknowledgement
  • Preface
  • Chapter 1: Introduction
  • Chapter2: Methodology of Review of Literature
  • Source of Literature Collection
  • Chapter 3: Description and Classification of Literature
  • Analysis by year of publication
  • Analysis by research methods
  • Analysis by the journal of publication
  • Articles by industry studied
  • Analysis by country studied
  • Citation Analysis
  • Chapter 4: Content Analysis
  • Review of Literature
  • Summary table of Literature Review
  • Chapter 5: Findings from Literature Review
  • Chapter 6: Conclusion
  • Chapter 7: Scope for future research
  • References
  1. Text should be in Times New Roman, Font size- Heading 14 and body 12, settings should be justified with 1.5 spacing
  2. Report should be of about 35-40 pages
  3. APA referencing style should be followed
  4. Report (Spiral binding, 2 copies) along with a CD (report+PPT) is to be submitted.
  5. Each student will be required to make a presentation of her report to a panel of examiners for evaluation.

PPT should have the following slides:

    • Introduction to the topic-1 or 2 slides
    • Recent Developments/Issues/Trends-1 or 2 slides
  • Chapter2: Review of Literature
  • Source of Literature Collection-1 slide
  • Content analysis-Best 5 papers -5 slides
  • Chapter 3: Analysis of Review Work
  • Analysis by year of publication-1 slide
  • Analysis by research methods/design -1 slide
  • Analysis by the journal of publication-1 slide
  • Articles by industry/sector studied-1 slide
  • Analysis by country studied-1 slide
  • Analysis by Citation -1 slide
  • Summary table of Literature Review-4/5 slides
  • Chapter 4: Finding & Conclusion
  • Findings from Literature Review-1 slide
  • Scope for further studies -1 slide
  • Conclusion-1 slide
  • References-1 or 2 slides
  • Use Light background for slides
  • Font size should be readable
