Objective: 

To make the students learn about documentation and airline ticketing producedure.

Unit I: 
UNIT I

Travel Formalities

  • Understand information related to passports, visa ,health requirements ,taxes ,customs ,currency ,insurance and auxillary services.
  • Identify requirements for the above documentation and consequences of negligence
  • Information on currency regulations
  • Read TIM for all above related topics
  • SPM rules and POE procedure for Indian nationals

 

Unit II: 
UNIT II

Aeronautics / Air Travel Facilities

  • Understand the basics of aircraft operation
  • Gain knowledge of the procedures while take off , In –flight and while landing.
  • Information on different types of Aircraft and their seat configuration
  • Understand the interior layout of the air craft and In-flight services
  • Broad knowledge of outlay of  the Airport
  • Regulations and procedures on departure and arrival at the airport

 

Unit III: 
UNIT III

 Fare Construction and Ticketing

  • Contruct and quote normal and special air fares.
  • International Ticketing
  • Identify major aspects of control & Security of accountable documents.
