CO98: Design a Questionnaire to investigate a research problem related to any area of Management

CO99: Develop a report based on analysis of primary data by applying various statistical tools using a Software

Course Content                                                                                                                    30 hrs

  • Questionnaire Designing-Preparation of Questionnaire (Google form/MS Word)
  • Data collection and entry- Collection of data, coding of data and entry into Software
  • Data Analysis -Descriptive analysis and Hypothesis testing
  • Report writing- Chapterisation, Bibliography and References

 

Apart from the 30 hrs. lab sessions, students are required to devote 2 hrs. per week under the supervision of their respective supervisors on regular basis for guidance on report.

Guidelines for report preparation

 

  1. Choose a topic of your interest. No two students can have the same topic
  2. Prepare a report based on primary data on the chosen topic.
  3. Report should have the following structure:
  • Cover page
  • Index
  • Acknowledgement
  • Preface
  • Chapter I-Introduction
  • Introduction to topic
  • Introduction of industry/ company selected (if any)
  • Chapter II-Research Methodology
  • Introduction
  • Review of Literature (15 research papers)
  • Identification of problem- Research Gap
  • Research Design
  • Chapter III-Analysis & Interpretation
  • Descriptive analysis of data
  • Hypothesis testing
  • Chapter IV-Findings, Conclusion & Suggestions
  • Findings
  • Conclusion & Suggestions
  • Bibliography and References (APA Style)
  • Annexures

  • Raw Data Score Sheet
  1. Text should be in Times New Roman, Font size- Heading 14 and body 12, settings should be justified with 1.5 spacing
  2. Report should be of about 50-60 pages
  3. APA referencing style should be followed

Submission guidelines

Two hardcopies of the report (Spiral binding) along with a CD (report+PPT) is to be submitted.
