Objective / Purpose: “A CD presentation on Rajasthan as tourist Destination” was aimed to increase the knowledge of students about Rajasthan culture heritage and a significant tourist destination from historical and cultural point of view. It was also meant to impart required knowledge about Rajasthan Art and Cultural aspects.

Details :  A practical session was organized  for the students of Tourism management –All semester to make them aware of Rajasthan Culture, Heritage and History. Students were exposed to rajasthan’s history, Art and Cultural Work. Students were shows various destination like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur , Bikaner and Chittaurgarh etc. students experienced the glory of Rajasthan, present status and developed tourism areas to be viewed prominently by tourist.  They were also informed about various events, fairs and festival that take place on time to time in Rajasthan. Student showed their interest in Rajasthan as tourist destination. They asked several question on history and cultural aspects of Rajasthan. The session was co ordinate by Ms. Deepika Singh.

Outcome of presentation: CD presentation session proved significant for students who were earlier not very much aware of Rajasthan as tourist destination. Students realized that glory of Rajasthan developed over the years with significant efforts of ruler of Rajasthan who showed their interest to develop various art and Architecture of the state. Students came to know that why tourists have willing to visit Rajasthan time and again, their motives etc.
