Workshop on Airline ticketing software

Objective of the workshop: It was meant to bring awareness about various ticketing software and bring in a sense of understanding of various commands and techniques amongst the students. workshop will use a software to guide the students and practical exposure would be there.

Description: The department organized a workshop on Airline ticketing software. Workshop was aimed to increase the skills of students needed to prepare an airline tickets. Students learnt how to use various commands and formats to design an airline tickets. Students came to know about various commands to be used to get information about how to get fare, baggage allowance, availability of seats, meal charges, maximum permitted mileage etc. This work shop was designed to increase the hands on experience on airline ticketing. Work shop was intended to increase the curiosity among the student regarding utilization of software that ease the process of ticketing and they would be able to generate the ticket with short span of time. Resources person for the Workshop was Mr. Lokesh sehgal (Assistant professor).

Outcome of the workshop:

Students came to know about various commands to be used to get information about fare documentation, baggage allowance, availability of seats, meal charges, maximum permitted mileage, currency exchanges etc. students learnt to airline ticketing procedure. Workshop proved fruitful to students who were intended to increase their knowledge regarding utilization of software that ease the process of ticketing and they would be able to generate the ticket with short span of time.
