Departmental Activity Report (Session 2023-24)

Activity: Celebration of World Tourism Day

Date: 27 September 2022

Venue: Room N0 105, IISU campus

Details : The Department of Tourism and Aviation and Yuva Tourism Club conjointly celebrated World Tourism day on IISU campus. Students of MTB, BBA-ATM (Aviation & Tourism), MBA-TTM (Tourism and Travel Management) and TAM (COSD certificate & Diploma) UG and PG participated in Quiz and Poster making activity related to various destinations, cultural aspects and eco-tourism destination in India. They also wished faculty and staff individually. This Year Theme for the world tourism day is “Tourism and Green Investment” and hosted by Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

Purpose: It was designed to raise awareness about World Tourism Day and related theme. Student came to know about various historical monuments, cultural and religious aspects and other renowned destination of India. Students attempted to imbibe historical and cultural learning related to destination spreading across length and breadth of India.
