Activity: Heritage Visit to Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal
Date: 11 September 2023
Venue : From IISU Campus to Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal.
Details: A Heritage Visit was conducted by Department of Tourism & Aviation to make the student imbibe knowledge about the culture and history of state of Rajasthan. It is a part of curriculum of tourism students. Students of UG (Tourism & Aviation Management) and PG (Tourism & Travel Management) participated in the heritage Visit. On the day of heritage visit students were informed about rich historical and heritage aspect of Amer Fort & Hawa Mahal. The visit was guided & supervised by Dr. Lokesh Sehgal and Dr. Akanksha Kumari.
Purpose: It was meant to impart knowledge about culture and history of state in which students are doing their higher studies i.e Rajasthan. The purpose of Heritage visit was to raise the interest of students about cultural practices, architecture, and heritage assets.
