Activity: Department Orientation Programme

Date & Time: 1 September 2022, 12-1 PM

Venue: Seminar Room IISU Campus.  

Details:  An Orientation Programme was organized for students of semester 1st UG (MTB, BBA-Aviation & Tourism Management and TAM (COSD) Students.) to divulge required knowledge about departmental & academic activities that will come about in the academic session 2022-23. Session was led by Dr. Deepika Singh (HOD) & Dr. Lokesh Sehgal. The orientation programme covered the following parameters:

• Faculty Profile
• Departmental Website   
• Time Table
• Location of the Department/Classes/Labs
• Departmental Activities/Calendar
• Structure of Course Curricula
• Subject-wise Credits
• Programme Outcomes
• Learning Outcomes
• Scheme of Examination (CA & SEE)
• Assessment and Evaluation Pattern
• Library System and Online Access

Further to make the session interactive for the students, a short quiz based on tourism destinations of India was conducted to test their knowledge about the same. At the end Google forms seeking feedback about above parameters got filled by students to estimate their learning about the same.
